After their two recent releases on T-Files (”Virulence” as T-FILE029, “Arsenic” and “The Dead Man Walking” on T-FILE-EP013), Messieurs Colmant deliver this lovely streamlined technoid tool on T-FREE. Go check their alias “Antichristus” and their own label Evil Beats Recordings; and while you are at it, give a listen to “Arythmia” by Peter Kurten and Dead Kat (Amalgam 003 vinyl) because it is one of the wickedest Drum & Bass tunes ever!

With the nineteenth release on T3K Recordings you get the first remix: the rework of Isotop`s “Mininmalism” by Kaiza and Beyond keeps the very own vibe of the original, which was the first track to be put out on T3K
Recordings in early 2009, and adds some twists to it plus changing the structure a bit but without touching it`s clean sounds and the rolling beat. The result is a rolling but minimal hybrid up to date with common musical developments.

It Is time for a new name on T3K Recordings. Dysphory is a very young talent from Khotkovo, Russia and brings in the insidious thing called “Virus” which will get you down to the floor! A very surprising track which has all it should have: a stomping beat, evil synthworks and good variation throughout the whole track. This one should be checked by all friends of technoid Drum N Bass and those who are after good music and not those who only check productions by bigger and more known names!

T3K introduces the new sub-series “T3K Experimental” for radical and uncompromising stuff just like those two crazy smashers made by eRRe and Nightm4r3. So, T3K-EXP001 shows that the madness is from Spain: “Dont Clap” and “Overdrive” drill your head, suck out your brain and throw it away…

After three single Colmant tunes on Tilt-Recordings (Sinecore feat. Peter Kurten - “Vendetta” [T-FILE012], Kriotek - “Borrhot” (Sinecore RMX) [T-FILE026], Sinecore + Peter Kurten - “Virulence” [T-FILE029]) it is now time for an EP (and something else soon). “Arsenic” is a rhythmic bouncer, almost completely dry. A proper basic loop made of syncopated bass stabs interplaying with a strong kickdrum and a dry snare, opened up with creative breaks, is all that is needed. “The Dead Man Walking” has a similar structure. But it is rolling more, has a much less prominent snare and there is a constantly modulated synth line woven into the rhythmic texture. Techno at its core: melody functions smoothly as one among other rythmic elements.

The first release of Kriotek on T3K Recordings is here! And the guys from Romania create a crazy vortex of sound
which you can not escape: 4 tracks of superb arrangement, clever structure and tight mixdown compiled to one EP. These demonstrate not only their musical abilities but also their technical skills. Expect more from them (Kriotek basically are Proton Kid and Nufojah, and both do solo works, too) on T3K Recordings in the future and also check the tunes already out on T3K013 and T3K014, those on Digital Venom (”Anomaly” by Kriotek and “Innocuous” by Proton Kid) and T-Files (”Tsar” remixed by Kriotek) plus those on various other labels…

Date:
06.08.2010 (Freitag): Drum & Bass Mega-Rave 5000 @ Café Odeon, Mannheim
Line-up:
Faironne (baesse.de)
DJ Hektik (Tilt-Recordings / T-FREE)

The weather is hot and so are the beats as Subliminal return to Club Dissident on Friday 30th July for what will be another night offering the the finest sounds of Drum & Bass. Once again there will be no shortage of exclusive new music as we present two DJ / Producer acts of the highest order.
EQUINOX has been involved in Drum & Bass music for almost two decades. He grew up in South East London on a diet of Dub, Soul, Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop and Detroit Techno. Such a musical education could only act as a prelude to his eventual musical involvement in the music industry. Fuelled by his passion for beat driven electronic music, a then fledgling 15 year old producer Equinox passed a demo tape of his early work to hardcore legend Bizzy B and the next thing he knew, Bizzy was on the phone and work began on the “Brain Records Crew EP”.
Since those early Brain Records days, Equinox has worked with a host of other artists including Outrage and Breakage to name but two and also engineered the 2004 remix of DJ Crystl’s Warpdrive, released on Photek productions. In addition to his various production commitments elsewhere, Equinox runs his own label with Breakage called Scientific Wax that focuses on their own musical blueprint for the future and hosts his own weekly radio show on Jungletrain.net.
After hearing his set at Hardware in London a couple of weeks back, Peterborough best get ready to be musically slaughtered!!
But we don’t stop there..
Like a tank commander with a battle plan, METH is a DJ / Producer on a deadly mission. Having started out in the mid-nineties with good friend Andy Propaganda, Meth developed his DJ and production skills before joining with Blade and Virtua in making “The Sect” a trio famed for their uncompromising musical style. Many releases followed on Offkey, Position Chrome, Freak and Obscene before Meth decided to unleash himself again as a solo artist. Now and integral part of Raiden’s mighty Offkey outfit, his musical development has become swifter than ever before, leaving a trail of club devastation wherever his tracks are played. With new material due on Offkey, Subtitles, Renegade Hardware and DJ bookings spanning the globe, it’s fair to say that the real Meth has arrived, packing only the heaviest musical artillery.
If this wasn’t already enough, once again the Subliminal supporting cast is a strong one, with main room action being provided by Bad Boy Kaiza of Tilt Recordings Germany, Komplex, Mr. Bang-E, Alexander (Organic & Rude FM), Y2 (Danger Chamber Digital) and Strago (Mutacube).
On this night we are also opening up the second room for all things bass, breaks and bleeps with Headliner EK50 of Insekto Recordings Spain, Beat Juggler extraordinaire DJ Syrus, guests and residents Funky Green (Amen 2 Anarchy), Overdrive (Head-Room), Kaos (23rror Bass), Faultine (Element) and Riot.
Evening hosts are the mighty MC Sn+per (CIA / 4Cross) and Atomic.
All the above being delivered @ Club Dissident, the best local venue for underground and urban sounds. Expect a Bass Heavy 12k sound system, Camo decor, lots of lights n lasers, reasonably priced drinks and friendly vibes all round. There are lots of free parking spaces right next to venue, Peterborough train station is but a 10 minute walk away and there are plenty of Taxi’s & takeaways on the doorstep.
And here is the best bit… How much are we charging you for all this heavyweight business…? £5 all night!! Doors open @ 10pm, party till late, last entry 3am.
See ya’ll by the bassbins

The Belgians did it again! The two evil brothers bless Tilt-Recordings with a strong technoid stomper for the 3rd time.
320 kbps mp3 and wav available on Beatport, Juno, Digital-Tunes, Chemical and ithinkmusic.
