Mefjus strikes again shortly after his debut “Radix” [T-FILE019], now together with M-Force, a producer team from Linz (Austria) including Yak and Lou from the Seriouz Seriez Crew and Contact. “Wholetrain” is a hard hitting technoid tool with a dramatic drop, aggressive wall-of-midrange/bass sequences and pounding, often heavily edited beats built around an electronic Heavy Metal theme. Austrian Newschool-sidechain-compresison-funk at its best!

The Flyer says it all – in German though.

Try and Error release their 4th tune, again a feature-collaboration with Kaiza. After the experimental “Blitz” [T-FREE063] this is again a reduced Techno-DNB tool.

Our third booking abroad this year. Let’s see how this one works out…

The third decade of releases on T-Files is started with a tune by the honourable and respected Spinor. After releasing the mighty “Moloch” on Tilt-Recordings TILT008, the hefty “Deadlift” as the first tune on the sublabel/series T-Files and the wicked “Emergence” on the first release of the digital label Break-Fast Audio in 2008 and generously presenting all of us again with “Syrinx” and his “Sourcream RMX” both on T-FREE in 2009, he returns to T-Files once more with this technoid and heavy, yet beautiful and deep roller entitled “Khafra”. I would like to take this opportunity to explicitly say: Thank you for all these tunes you made and gave to the world!

Since “Appendix” [T-FREE028], the unstoppable Dementia has had a bunch of vinyl releases on labels such as Trust In Music, Disturbed, Shadow Law, .shadybrain, Flight, Citrus and DSCI4. He toured the world and doubtlessly made himself a well established artist, and he will not stop here at all. With many more Drum & Bass releases to follow in the future and with his House sideproject “The City Of Dogs”, his musical career will be quite interesting to watch! Today he returns to T-FREE with a Birthday present to the scene: “Rockstar”, another lost tune released.

Our 3rd time in Poland, hopefully another fun trip… The last two times (both in Poznan) were dreamy, thanks to Matti!

“Soundness” by Isotop + Kaiza is now released (alongside “Dead FM” by Devid Holten & RbkIBORG) via the netlabel Beataddiction:

This is more madness from the man they call Shots (he recently pulled out tunes on Tilt-Recordings, T-Files, T-FREE and T3K Recordings). “Hadron” is another wicked example of his ingenuity with additional work by his partner in crime Isotop to complement it soundwise. After a very sick intro, Shots shows his vision of techno-influenced drum n bass: pounding halfbar drums combined with mind-twisting synth stabs create a flying dagger aiming for your head. Be aware…

“Sourcream Remixes” [T-FREE-LP001]

In 2006, a team of two producers from the Trio-Music crew made the tune “Sourcream”, released on vinyl later in the same year. Since then it has been remixed by quite a number of producers. And even though the duo behind the original has split in 2007, some of these remixes were just too good to remain unreleased. Thus, a remix album on T-Files was planned in 2008. But it did not come out as planned because one remix was not yet finished and the project was put to a halt, waiting for the last remix. Now that last remix is ready and the plan could be realized, but some time has passed and artists have moved on musically: the remixes do not anymore represent their sound and style today. So they are now finally released as an LP on T-FREE for teh ages.

Highly respected club event series, running since 2000. 3 floors, dnb being the main attraction – that is with us: technoid dnb! Should be awesome, don’t miss it if you are near Stuttgart this Saturday.

Kaiza and Shots put their ideas together for this seriously twisted Techno-DNB stepper. Its Bassline, beat, stabs and percussions, arranged in a beautiful 100% counter-dynamic call and response play, create a hefty drive. This concludes the first 20 T-Files releases and more can be expected in the near future.

“Blitz” is an experimental tune, rather far out and flexing the generic borders of Techno-DNB. Kaiza and Try and Error put together an unusual mixture of tribal, dubby and technoid elements. The result is this hypnotic “minimal” tune with a strong focus on percussions and the bassdrum.
